Well done to all who attended the Retro Show at the weekend – Not only did we take everyone by surprise, but we also managed to come out on top! You’ve done RL Proud!!!

…Stumbling into the chaps and chapesses from rat-look.com at the Retro Show, was one of those memorable moments when you are totally and utterly gob-smacked. Goodbye jaded ‘seen it all before’ cynicism, the world of modded cars has just been totally inverted by a revolutionary breath of fresh air….

Again, a massive well done to all the guys and girls involved. You are amazing!

Just a quick note to remind you that we add more of our members rat’s to the gallery everyday, and there’s been a lot more added recently.. Click the picture of the Golf below to check out our latest additions.

We have 162 currently sitting there, but it’s not enough! So login to the forum and post in the members gallery thread to get yours added to the site so we can show off our works of art!

Evening all! Thought I’d drop a quick post in before 2010 hits!

Most of you will notice a slight(!) change in the website. Yup – We’ve upgraded! Something easier to manage, so we can update you lot more often with the latest rat news, even via twitter on the top right, add further rat cars to the gallery and also a calendar on the right hand side bar so you don’t miss any of the important shows or meets this year! Click each link on that and it’ll take you straight to the thread you want on the forum with all the info!

We’ve got a few tiny things to clear up still, but hopefully it’ll add enjoyment to the website for everyone involved. Expect another update shortly with other news.

Here we are, only 6 months young and already we have our first meet organised, the imaginatively named RAT-LOOK.com Meet. This is the first event of this type in the UK, ever…… With 26 cars and over 40 members already confirmed for this meet it’s going to be the maddest event of the summer. The event of the year is going to be held on the 29/30th August at Shakespeare County Raceway, Stratford Upon Avon the only place bonkers enough to suit our needs!

An aeroplane graveyard for photoshoots by FASTCAR magazine and us? Check. A whole airfield for an Autotest circuit? Check. Excellent camping facilities? Check. A Rat Car convoy through sleepy Stratford Upon Avon? Check. An awards ceremony including Best Rat Car, Best Non Rat Car, Spirit of Rat-Look award, and a few not so serious awards? Check. BBQ’s and Beer? Check. Oh and a small bonus extra, A QUARTER MILE DRAG STRIP? CHECK… If you are in love with the idea then come join us. Of course that’s not the only thing happening on rat-look lately. The site is always being improved here and there, and I’m proud to say that the Gallery page is now live and is growing slowly but surely to host a huge amount of pictures for you fellow ratters to gawp over. And there is also a section for rat look members to have their guides to ratting placed on the website, but this is in very early stages… However don’t worry about how the site currently looks – once all the content is up, our looks will improve, much like a rat over time.. If anyone’s pretty hot with graphics, this would be your que to e-mail me!

We’ve got a busy few months ahead, and with the site getting close to nearly double the members since our post less than 2 months ago, it’s only going to get bigger and better!. Oh, whilst I remember, if you want your car on the mainsite gallery, post in this thread and it may become part of the site in the near future!
