Is it a write off, or can it be pulled out and used as a feature? :)

Not gonna write it off at all, all the door glass is intact so going to get a second hand door. Any color will do then sand it back paint the bottom a faded primer red then rust up the top strip under the window, Hopefully the rust will sorta run down the door and stain it up. May even spray a logo on like Barneys body shop or something.
Idea's welcome. Got the springs in late last night, subtle lift but looks better, just got the mud flares to do.
Keen to get a basket on the roof but.... May have another project on the way.
And with a daily driver can go a bit more crazy.

Vitaras are so common the panels are all pretty cheap and easy to replace.
I had an SJ and loved it. Take yours on some greenlaning and add some smaller dents to the big one. :insanity

My SJ

Just a random picture of what madness parrotveasey81 can create. :wahhh

^^ Parrot's SJ is nuts!

As for this one, how about a huge beaten up sump guard off a landcruiser or something? modified to fit of course, to add to the rough and ready look?

twisted the rear prop, ripped the front diff pinion out of the diff case and also snaped a front drive shaft :tu
that was the easy bit,it took forever to kill the engine before i scraped it :devil

Got the spings in but looks heaps better, with the custom bumper works well.
I'm trying to track down a big Hemp rope or something to sorta wrap around the bumper.
Here's a proper size picture of my mice to, I'm thinking once The car gets more rust on it of Calling it the Rustaurant
and making the mice the doormen

Those rats! That's epic!

Basket will look good, how about an old portable barbecue or something, really play the restaurant theme?

Like your thinking, I need to focus on getting this thing cleaned up abit as my daily, going to pull the front carpet out spray it all black and got a new one for the rear just need a few trim panels. Next time I'm near a city I'll get the rear window tinted properly. Once that doors fixed and the interior is looking flush I can really crank into this next project.. Picking up the new wheels on the 13th

Been to wet to do anything worth while but a few tiny details added,
Image
have sanded back the wipers a little and there rusting up well
Decided every pimping car needs a cigar lighter not pussy cigarettes
And here's my plan rust the bonnet and the two little panels at the bottom of the windscreen.
