I know a corsa isn't everyones favorite car, but it was £450 and I'll do my best, to my best abilites with it :lol Untill I can afford a decent car like most of the top motors on this site :drool

Hello hello, I don't know how often this will be updated, and I have plenty more pics of spraying and painting on my Corsa, but I'll upload my phone ones for now :)
My car stated off.. pink, horrid faded red, but T cut almost every other week partially solved that. So I got myself a man.. I mean car bra to kick things off:
Image

Next up was a bit of lowering, and wind deflectors:
Image

Then stickers, a random fog, and left over can of fluro green paint became:

Boredom + black board paint =

And today I topped it off with getting some free roof bars, and a little something that I'll reveal tomorrow ;)

Vauxhall flaming pink, eh? :lol
Should be updating some pics later, done the fuel cap today, and stripped the paint off my old bonnet (the paint bubbled, so I'm driving with a blue bonnet at the moment).
I realised I'm missing the little bump stip on the bottom of my front bumper, I'm debating wether I ever had one, or if it just fell off somewhere :doh
Edit:

Image
See those raindrops? They aren't, they are bubbles under the paint :doh Ah well! Stripped that bonnet off and removed all the paint (was sad to see that lovely fresh stencil burn in nitro :sadness ).

Fuel caps done, but far too dark to get a piccy, I shall get one tomorow!

Half way through: (sorry about darkness, the lights aren't great, thats actually bright fluro green!)

Time to crack on with the bonnet, no idea what to do to it though. :aviator

Edit: Oops, I meant to edit this into the above post, sorry!

I was gutted about that, my LIVE tag is PixelBomb so it was only fitting! I'll knock a new one up for the new bonnet though, just got to think of a design to work around it. Thanks for the compliments (:

We have black paint attempt 3!
Image
Took it to bear metal this time, scratched that with 60grade, used a BIG roller, not some silly little ones, and used different satin black paint. It's just drying over night, then onto stencils :P
I'll keep you updated on how it finishes if anyones interested to see. Oh and pacman now rides on my rear view mirror, as well as some bits and bobs :cheers

Thanks everyone, I know Corsa's are a bit of an odd car to make a rat from, a little too rounded, but I'll try my best! (:
I've some some bits and bobs planned, and I need to find a way of getting my hands on lots & lots of stickers!
Cheers again! :cheers

Cheers mate!
Sounds like a plan to me, as long as its not too far (No job = lack of money) :sadness
I did a quick chop of it with black alloys and lower, I'll post it up soon.

Richt, cracking on: I found an old bike exhaust in the garage so I did the obvious, I tried to see if it would fit. Long story short, the pipe bends the wrong way, and the brakcets wont let me turn it around. So back into the box with it, but there was a hidden gem in the form of an old bend of pipe for extending the throttle end. A quick trip to homebase later and I've got some jube clips, oh and a copy of FC from Sainsburys next door finally.

The gear:

Clipping on:

And the result:

Can't go far wrong with a free bit of pipe :tu

I hate to admit defeat but I have run out of steam with this now. I have very little money, and my imagination has run dry. I did buy a second bonnet to start rusting, but shortly after I decided its been done over and over, so now thats lying about spare, and my alloys are a pain to clean and getting on my nerves now. I just can't think of where to go from here to keep it classy, but different at the same time.

So in short, can anyone help me out with ideas? :doh

steelies, nice and cheap in 4x100? don't have to clean them then...

instead of the bonnet, rust something else? door? half a wing?

go and wander round a scrapyard for inspiration.

if my car wasn't rare i've been dying to mangle the roof to look like the claws they pick them up with lmao

Jon.
