Postman bought goodies...Obviously had to clean the panels a little to fix.Had a funny moment when one of my neighbours caught me patting mud back on with my hand afterwards :doh
And had a go at making bars for the windows with some old fence panels I had laying around. Was not exactly what I had in mind,I was thinking more of concrete reinforcing rods but was there, light, free & easy to cut. It's galvanised so I scored it up with the hacksaw blade to get it weathering...
Bodged it on temporary with a few blobs of seam sealer for now till I deal with the window sticker campaign..

I've seen a few modified Micras, but this is by far the best. I love the weight loss program you have put it on. I don't think I have ever seen or heard of anyone lacquering over mud, I think that's brilliant!

Bless ya,what an accolade :)
The mud seems pretty durable, had some heavy rain & it's hangin in there.
Looking forward to seeing your V70 getting the diet treatment..

Car took an unexpected rattier turn today..One of my muckers was following me in his recovery truck with a car on the back...He thought I had pulled out at the junction..but I had not.So I got 3.5 ish tons pushing me forward.
Luckily did not wreck the back bumper which I lovingly spread a few kilos of filler in.Looks like he bounced off the number plate lights.Pressed most of it out with my hands, easy to get to as there is no inner to it.
Couldn't have been done by someone I could claim from could it :doh Be funny getting an insurance assessor round to inspect it tho :)

Nothing like a 3 1/2 ton love tap :D

I've always wanted to change one of those 'baby on board' signs to ' baby in boot'.....

Absolutely loving the mud on this too!

Shameless bump & cop out.
I can't offer more than a few randoms & new sticker pics but it's too cold to do much..Can't remember when I last removed the bonnet..but it's still in daily use & always starts, runs & drives...& it's not a Focus.
A passenger was moaning about lack of factory handle to hang on to so I found a strap & a matching dummy to maybe subdue the screams for help..

Sad Rover story..Mate took in part ex with what was described as a "slight oil leak" ,noisy gearbox,& usual head gasket issue..Then excelled itself by putting a con rod through the block within 10 mins..Class :bow

@SaTaN & Tantrum..
Yep..Sad state of affairs with our car industry. They knew the K series engine had problems but carried on churning them out regardless.Management was too busy filling their pockets with the tax payers bail out money to worry much about quality control...& sold the good marques to foreign companies who made a success of them.

At least a good , tuned k series are out there. They may be shite from the factory but once you jave corrected all the problems they are actualy alright.

Visited "The track" last night..Loads of quality mud.Become a bit of a connoisseur..Have to bottle some up for the summer.(If we get one)
Looks like VW driver got a bit carried away in the snow :doh Probably could have tipped that back onto its wheels & driven home.Reminds me when an old mate rolled his lime green rally stickered Fiat Mirafiori..We get her going & drove home with grass & mud in the gutters & crumpled roof..& another mate rolled his dads Marina up the lanes one Sunday while he was out.Ooops

You know, That is REALLY DISTURBING!! I think Clive Barker is writing the script of your life: Look out for people with a lot of metal in their faces.....
