Hmmmmmmmm, paint the letters... Not a bad idea that mate ;)

Finished sanding/painting my bonnet, dammmmmmmmmmm my fingers are sore lol. Not finished yet tho, i've still gotta finish painting the rest of the car lol. I've started smoothing the roof again (I rushed it before we went to Cornwall) and i'm also thinking of spraying my wheels, they don't suit the look im going for and i can't afford to buy anything else :( undecided on the colour tho... possibly gold? Dunno?

Tell me bout it Connor

Lol Swompy, i'm waiting on someone to call me a copycat haha

I, as usual, rushed in feet first and started to rattle can it in my poorly lit garage using the cheapest paint i could find.... yeah, that wasn't one of my best ideas :( 15 tins went nowhere, and it looked shocking!

Anyways i bought some Halfrauds paint to finish the front, got her looking half decent and took her out of the garage to pop over to Chorley in the rain and watched in horror as my bargain 80p a tin satin black paint i'd used on the roof and half the back end WASHED THE FK OFF!!!!! :-o

Not happy :waaahhh!

I'm not gonna upload pics... its to tramatic :Hi! Bai!

Yep.. lesson learnt.. the hard way, cheap paints cheap for a reason. I wouldn't mind tho but its actual proper spray paint and everything!

I'm supposed to be on a stand in a fortnight and she looks shocking!!

Waiting on someone to say i've ripped off your idea lol

Dude, you've got some serious skills... You paint with your toe? Awesome! Haha. Weathered orange will work a treat with the orange/red of the rust

DON'T TALK TO ME ABOUT FECKING PAINT!!!!!!!!!

And breathe, (lol) i HAD been using Halfrauds satin to re-spray her (For the second... no, third time) Used 3 tins, looked lush, bought another 2 but from a different Halfrauds and they we're a completely different finish!! Soooooooooooooooo, i cry'd a little and locked myself away in my man cave, threw away the horrible matt black masonary paint that had caused all my trouble in the first place and decided to crack on B) I 'should' be able to get her up to work on Saturday to use the compresser so fingers crossed she'll be all one colour again :thumbsup

Teasers :P

Fibre filler, horrible messy stuff

Mmmmmmmmmmmm, wonder what could possibly be going on here then?

Starting to rust nicely

I forgot to take my camera out with me today but i'm on the stand at the 'All comers day' on the 29th so i'll get some 'proper' pics then....
in the mean time

Image

Thanks to boredskateshack for the stickers, and thats not even half of them :D

Thing is tho, i'm now on the path leading to a season of bankruptcy and debt, i know i'll soon be selling my childrens toys on eGay to fund my dirty habit, sneaking out in the middle of the night to get my fix... i'm a sticker whore, and i'm scared im not going to be able to resist Mr oil can and Syco graffix's sticky vinyl drugs....

Doh, i've had a relapse already...

Image

Lol

And as promised, i've Joey'd the surfRats headlights

Image

I'm thinking off taking out the HID's and fitting some 100w sports blue H4's

Past couple of nights i've had an hour or 2 'playing' with the car, Last night i removed the HID's, i now have working side lights and legal(ish) bulbs ( Led side lights and 100w 'sports blue' bulbs ftw ) Damm they look dull in comparison tho lol.

Mrs said the cars not going any lower as its already silly low as it is, so tonight i turned my coilover cups anti-clockwise till they we're located 15mm down the threads from where they we're :thumbsup

*Not once did i say lowered, just wound down 15mm ;)
