I will be stripping the paint from the Micra tomorrow, and I'm wondering what the best way to go about doing it is.

I used a drill with a wire brush attachment to take the paint off the Renault, but it was a disaster and I ended up paying my nephew to do it for me. I don't really want to do it again, and I don't want to pay my nephew €30 again.

I hear Nitro Mors doesn't work on car paint, and I don't want to waste €30 on a bottle of it to see for myself.

Are there any other ways?

best way is to use an angle grinder with a grinding attachment :)

Good luck and have fun!

I have used very rough sand paper and a grinder with a sanding attachment, but make sure you get past the primer and galvanizing as when it begins to rust they will show up, unless thats what you want..........Tusta

So I've just been using a drill with a circular wire brush attachment, and then going over it with an electric sander, so its nice and smooth and right down past the galvanizing.
