Does ANYONE know a good, HONEST, reliable auto electrician in Herts/West Essex? I have the "Polo from HELL!" back, and I want to use the muddyfunster! (By the way, I will be SELLING the 17" rims that it sits on: 4x100 stud pattern).

No sparks. This happened just after the Radio packed up, and after TWO cowboys (well, one cowboy, one Indian) have had a poke and a prod at it I'm STILL no further forward to getting the fothermucker working! I suspect there is some burned out wiring behind the dash, but without getting the dash out I have no idea. I know a few people have had Polo 6N's on the forums, that's why I'm posting here.

Hmmm that is very odd, have you tried a multi-meter and just tested different points around the car tp see what area of electrics may have been gone?

I've had two so-called "Professionals" look at it: I think they looked at it, thought "Ah, fxck it!", and did NOTHING!! Not that it stopped the bastards rinsing me of 80 quid for a "Diagnostic". Bastards!!

Yup: It spins, the fuel pump primes itself, but NO SPARKS!! This happened not long after I'd changed the stereo, which then packed up. I'm not sure that the two are connected, but it seems a little too much of a coincidence. I HATE the damned thing, so if I can't get it running I'll break it up: It's a 5 door, so I could at least get my money back :/
