Welcome to the launch of a website and forum dedicated solely to the rat styling scene.

In the coming months we hope to create a friendly community that all have a similar like minded interest and goal – to get our vehicles as ratted up as possible! Whilst helping everyone out in achieving their own unique rat styling effect.

You may of course, ask why this site has cropped up, when there are other forums with rat styled cars on them? Simple! There is not one universal UK based rat styling website catered for cars ranging from the usual VW Beetle’s and Camper Van’s to Renault Clio’s, 5’s, Honda Civics’, Volvo Estates and even Skoda Fabia’s. Basically any car is welcome! Similar websites place just their focus on either the European, American or Japanese scene alone, and don’t even dedicate a small section of their forums to this scene. So why not just get everyone together and build it into one friendly community?

Of course there is another hope that we have, in which we would like to see our own forum members hosting meets and events in the future (be it no doubt small to start with) for everyone to attend and enjoy. And these future meets in question will hopefully include a nice mixture of ratted up cars for everyone to take a look around whilst getting to know the members themselves in the process. Great, right?

Remember that we’re only just starting out, so if you have any ideas or thoughts about the site, let the guys on the forum know and they’ll be no doubt happy to help, as although it may be just me typing this, there are also many other contributors to the site and forum.

In the meantime watch this space whilst we add content very soon in the form of our own rat gallery and also include the definition of “Rat Look” and all the names and styles that are relative to the scene such as Hood Ride, Nu-Rat, Drift-rat and so forth…

For now though, take it easy, enjoy the site and have a great 2009.
